Imagine a breakfast that tastes of holidays

Enjoying nature will be easier if you start off with the ideal breakfast! Our delicious offerings are there for you from 7:30 to 10:00 in the morning, to enjoy before setting off for a day’s sightseeing near the Village.

Your beach in Castiglione della Pescaia

Lie down in the sunshine and admire the sea, while the light breeze caresses your skin. This simple action brings you into contact with nature around you. Choose between the free beach at Cala Violina or Rocchette Beach, equipped with amenities and where every detail is taken care of. Relaxing at the Stella del Mare Family Camping Village is a pleasure you will cherish throughout the winter.

Full immersion in the natural environment of Maremma

Close to the Stella del Mare Family Camping Village, at Castiglione della Pescaia, there are some of the most beautiful natural parks in Italy: one is the “Diaccia Botrona” nature reserve: head there at sunset for an evocative experience you will remember!

Maremma Toscana Nature Park

In just under an hour’s drive from our Family Camping Village is the region’s best-known Nature Park, also known as the “Parco dell’Uccellina”. Don’t miss the panoramic views from the hilltops along the entire Tyrrhenian coast as far as the islands of Giglio, Elba and Corsica, and see a succession of various natural environments including hills, Mediterranean scrub, cultivated fields and sandy beaches.

Arcipelago Toscano National Park

The largest marine park in Europe, it includes all the seven main islands in the Tuscan Archipelago. Legend has it that the seven islands in the Archipelago are the seven pearls of a necklace that Venus, the goddess of beauty and love, lost whilst swimming in the Mediterranean. On the islands it is possible to sight a number of rare species of animals, such as the Audouin’s gull and the monk seal.

The beaches at Punta Ala

If the Rocchette or Cala Violina beaches are not enough for you, another two fantastic beaches can be found at Punta Ala. A small beach facing the island of Sparviero, with one bathing establishment and a small free area. The other is between Punta Hidalgo and Cala del Barbiere, just beyond the pinewood: this long sandy beach with a number of different bathing establishments is very quiet and well maintained.

Your experience on the island of Elba

Not far from the Stella del Mare Family Camping Village lies the famous island of Elba. It is the largest island in the Arcipelago Toscano National Park, renowned especially for its beaches and for Napoleon Bonaparte staying there during his exile in 1814–1815. Well worth visiting at Portoferraio the exhibitions at the National Museum of Napoleonic Residences.

WWF Oases close to the Stella del Mare

Some of Tuscany’s WWF Oases are in the Maremma, Argentario and Capalbio areas. First and foremost, Orbetello Lagoon, which thanks to its position along the migratory routes sees thousands of birds concentrating there (including Pink Flamingos and Black-winged Stilts) especially in the winter period. The reserve is an ideal place for bird watching.
